Secondary School Applications - deadline 31st October

Time is running out to get your preferred choices submitted

All families who have children in Year 6 please be reminded of the following:

If you have not yet made your decision, we urge you to get your applications submitted before the deadline to have a better chance of getting your preferred school choice.

IN ALL CASES - we advise you make 3 or 4 choices to avoid losing out on a place all together.

We will do our best to support you and your child in every way we can, but this is one very important job you need to do. You will need to apply for a place at secondary school for your child.  This is mandatory, and you must do this before the cut-off date to ensure you get one of your choices.

The best way to apply is online. https://emsonline.nottscc.gov.uk/CitizenPortal_LIVE/en?ReturnUrl=%2FCitizenPortal_LIVE

You will need to Register if you don’t already have a Citizens Account.

However, if you are not able to apply online you can contact Nottinghamshire County Council on 0300 500 80 80 or by completing and mailing an application form

It is really important that you choose more than one school in case your number 1 preference isn’t able to accommodate your child. We know that first choices are what you prefer, but the secondary schools have to work within their parameters, so please make sure you choose 3 or 4 options.  It is essential that your child gets allocated a place at a school now, as failure to follow this guidance will result in likely disappointment and heartbreak later down the line.

Please follow the instructions, act now and get your choices in before the deadline.
