Dear families,

Re: Nursery provision at Mansfield Primary Academy:

Over the past few years the academy has provided additional nursery hours to our families without charge - we have been providing 30 hour places whilst only being funded for 15 hours.  Unfortunately, due to changes in national funding and budgetary pressures we are no longer able to do this.

To give you sufficient time to make alternative arrangements, we will continue to provide the 30 hours at no additional cost to you until 11^th February 2022.

After this time there will be three options available to you

1. 3 hour morning sessions (8:45-11:45 daily) – covered by the government funded free 15 hour entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds
2. Option to pay for afternoon sessions at a cost of £13.50 per session or a full week at discounted price of £55. School lunch will be available on full days only at a cost of £30 a day.
3. 30 hours free nursery place funded by government, if eligible (school dinner not included £2.30 per day)

Once you have completed this process, if you are eligible, you will be provided with a code, please screen shot this and send to Mrs Wilson via Class Dojo who will pass on to the office.

If you are wishing to pay for the additional sessions, these will be available on parent pay. This will need to be booked per half term to ensure we have the correct staffing ratios.

We apologise for changing these arrangements, but I am sure that you understand the financial pressures all schools are currently facing and our need to ensure that all children in our academy are getting the best education we can provide with the resources we have.
