RECEPTION

If your child is 5 years old between 1 September 2024 and 31 August 2025, you need to apply for a school place for them to start school in September 2025. Please see the guidelines here on how to apply for September 2025:

Head to the Nottinghamshire County Council website where you can "Apply for a School Place"

Make sure you choose 4 schools so that you don't miss out on a place all together.

Don't miss the deadline.  If you do miss it, there is a strict procedure of late applications, and you may not be guaranteed your preferred choice/s of school/s, so do apply early to avoid disappointment.

NURSERY

If you require a place in our Nursery (Foundation 1), then please contact the main office to complete a Nursery Waiting List application form or use this form to apply Nursery Waiting List Application.

ALL OTHER YEARS AND IN-YEAR ADMISSIONS

Parents/carers should apply by contacting Mansfield Primary Academy directly by telephoning 01623 624709 for an application form or click on the link to complete the application form online. This will be received directly by the school office.

We welcome visits to our Academy - please contact our main office to arrange an appropriate time.

For admission to Reception, in the year preceding admission, parents should apply using the Nottinghamshire County Council’s Admissions process.

For admission to Reception in September, parents should complete their applications online with Nottinghamshire County Council.  For admission in September 2024, forms should be returned by 15 January 2024 for primary Reception.  Any applications after this date will be dealt with as late applications.
