We use Little Wandle to teach daily phonics Mansfield Primary Academy.  We send home a home learning sheet each week to support the children with their learning.  Each sheet shows the phonemes we are focusing on and includes tricky words and sentences to practise reading.

The sheets for the whole year can be found below.  They include links to the Little Wandle website where you can see all the sounds in action to support your child.

Please see the attachment below broken in to Reception terms and then Year 1 terms with the tricky works the children need to know. These words are 'tricky' because they can not be read phonetically. Please encourage your child to read these regularly.
